Made in Italy. Made for you.
We believe the best-looking glasses are the ones that fit you perfectly. Crafted in our Veneto workshop from the finest Italian materials, every Dom Vetro frame passes through hundreds of steps by hand—because every detail, every curve, and every millimeter matters.
01Italian Roots
Dom Vetro—Italian for “House of Glass”—began in Veneto, where our founder, Ashley Bezamat, discovered the tradition of handmade Italian eyewear. After having a frame made especially for him by local artisans, he began learning the craft himself: cutting, shaping, sanding, polishing, and finishing acetate by hand.
What began as a fascination with a single pair of glasses became a lifelong pursuit of the craft—and of finding the perfect harmony between fit and beauty.
02 From Los Angeles Back to Veneto
Ashley later brought the craft to Los Angeles, where we established our workshop and built a following for handmade, made-to-order eyewear. There, Ashley personally designed and fitted frames for clients including Bradley Cooper, Alec Baldwin, and Al Roker—whose custom electric-blue Dom Vetro frames became a viral sensation after appearing on the Today Show.
Following the close of our Los Angeles workshop, we took a hiatus before beginning our next chapter: a return to where it all started. Today, we are once again crafting and innovating in Veneto, Italy, bringing Dom Vetro—and the craft—back to its Italian roots.
03 Made to Order
Rather than mass-producing large inventories, we make our frames to order in our Veneto workshop using premium Italian acetate.
Our small-batch approach allows us to focus on the details that matter—from the material and finish to the fit of the final frame—while avoiding unnecessary overproduction.
04 Made For You
No two faces are exactly alike. Our designer and craftsman, Ashley Bezamat, has made fit, comfort, and balance central to every Dom Vetro frame. Many of our styles are offered in multiple sizes, with special attention given to the shape and proportions of each frame front—how it sits on the bridge, balances on the face, and complements the person wearing it.
Our eyewear is available with prescription and non-prescription lenses, and we accept most major vision insurance plans. Custom lens options and personalized engraving are also available, allowing us to make your Dom Vetro even more distinctly yours.
